  Not new news again - but posted because of its sheer brilliance.  Anything that relates with design + technology i appreciate.  The guys behind House Of Cards video by Radiohead created a video using data from lasers… how cool! No cameras/video was used in the making.

  This creates interesting effects, such as a music video in which you can actually rotate around in 3D while its playing. WOW.

• DILLA DONUTS

  A more of a none visual inspiration… J Dilla.  Listening to this guys music gets me inspired, relaxed, unusual and experimental hip hop, the way it should be.  Sadly the great Dilla died in 2006 after a long illness, but still has albums and mixes coming out, always impressive.

• News Map

  Not new - but a new way of thinking. Everytime i see this it still makes me inspired to think of a new creative way of displaying news rather than ways in which this blog does.  Possibly in the future this blog will have a more creative way of displaying news like UX Magazine does.

• 50 Designers

  (A long time since update but been busy and away so heres 5 posts of yummy goodness to kickstart my updates again)

  I bought this beauty for £3 and features alot of designers and their favourite typefaces at the moment, great reference for type aswell as a piece of design within itself.

  All the money raised went to UNICEF and raised £6,000! Sadly all the books are sold out if you missed out.

• Barcode Plantage

  Great way of visualising what information is encoded in a bar code - genius! Its even better that you can type the barcode in and the visual grows.
