This week i have had the honour of working with the guys at Raw Design in Salford. They have a really nice christmas project going on called 'Christmas by Colour' that spanned from last year when they produced posters. Christmas by Colour explores colours relating to christmas and is put down in a pantone style. REAL nice! Head on over to their site to buy some....

It is only within the past year that i actually started buying Grafik magazine (and getting a subscription). After a few issues, Grafik decided for a whole change on their front covers, opting for a different logo and a really minimal illustration/colour combination. After checking out some websites i cam across an archive of all previous Grafik covers, and prefer the old ones in the archive to the new ones! There is so much more life to the covers, the logo looked great and the typography and layout of each cover varied and looked great.

I received the 'Studio Culture' book this morning through the post and what a great book it is. Its really well put together - the design and the content. It was also signed by Tony Brook from Spin - STOKED! I think this will be the book to read on the train over the next few week....

I recently purchased the new book by Tony Brooks from Spin. After visiting Spin's studio in London and seeing how they work and speaking to Tony Brook i have always been interested in their work. So this book was a must have. Studio Culture: The Secret Life of the Graphic Design Studio is the first title to be published by Unit Editions.
