‘Overchoice’ came from the idea that there is too much choice for consumers, which makes them saturated and difficult to make a choice on the goods. All shops sell nearly all the same things, for example, electronic shops all sell the same TV’s, which all do the same thing, but just a different brand. So the video took the idea that there is too much of the same item. The video then comes to an end when it pans out to reveal the mass of goods available, which looks like a mess due to there being too many.
